Gianmario Caracci was born in Camerino in 1926, 8th July. Died in Perugia on 12th March 1990, leaving
friends and relatives into pain. Camerino is a nice place in the Marche, italian region, placed in the
province of Macerata, where GM lived his first childhood years.
After studies to become surveyor in his hometown and a few years passed in ex Yugoslavia as an italian
teacher, he moved to Macerata in ... finding a job into the offices of "Civil Genius", then become
"Marche Region".
Here he knew Maria Bernardini, who worked in "Mutua Coltivatori Diretti" and he married her in September 1962.
From that union there were two children, Claudio and Tiziana.
In ... he subscribed to the "Accademia delle Belle Arti" of Macerata starting to paint on canvas,
his very true passion. He left us about forty works on canvas, almost naturalistic matter, subsequently
refining his tecnique. He partecipated to many exhibitions of his country, earning everywhere praises and
approval.
Many works of his own were bought by private collections in Rome and we hope whoever knows informations about that
to advice us in good time.
